Shipping and Returns
General Shipping Policy
Regular UPS Ground Shipping is FREE on orders over $100 shipped to the lower 48 states. In these cases, no additional shipping costs are charged when checking out. Not to be used with any other offer. Items that are not able to ship by UPS are not eligible for this offer.
International Shipping Policy
Due to the high cost of shipping and damages with air shipments we no longer ship outside of the US unless it is to a APO or FPO box for our military personal.
The up-charge for shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada or Puerto Rico. Please note that we are not responsible for any taxes, duties or fees including Brokerage fees and Customs that are associated with any purchase. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Expedited Shipping Methods ( Next Day, 2-Day, 3-Day Services ) Last Stop Lighting will not be liable for expedited shipping charges due to delay in the lead time of an order. Expedited shipping services are offered only to speed up the Transit Time. We have no control over the in-house time of an order (time prior to shipment) and do not guarantee or promise delivery dates. Therefore, we request that our customers plan ahead and place timely orders that allow for both in-house and the transit time.
Damaged in Transit
After receiving your shipment, you have two weeks in which to inspect the product(s) and inform laststoplighting.com of any manufacturing defects or damages that occurred prior to delivery. Laststoplighting.com will repair or replace the damaged or defective goods for no additional charge, but if return is desired, restocking fees will apply. No replacements or refunds will be issued in the event the customer fails to notify laststoplighting.com of defective or damaged merchandise within two weeks of receipt. If you receive a damaged fixture please send an email to Customer Service. Make sure to include all available reference information to assist us, including name, order number and nature of the problem and we will send an answer within 48hrs.
Most manufactures will send a missing part or replace a piece of glass if the fixture is repairable.
General Return Policy:
Within 30 days of the receipt of your order, you may return products for a refund, less a 35% restocking fee and the initial shipping cost.
The Customer's Responsibilities when Returning Product
It is the customer's responsibility to pack products for return in the original box with sufficient packaging material. It is in the customer's best interest to insure the package. Items damaged due to improper packaging during return shipment will not be replaced or refunded. If a packages is received damaged we will contact you and UPS for inspection and UPS will then send you a check for the damaged items. If not insured for the total amount of the item UPS will only refund up to $100.00 when the full value is not declared.
Acceptable returned merchandise must be:
In its original box with sufficient packaging materials
In resalable condition
Fixtures with options are not returnable (Battery back-up, Photocell, special cuts on bollards)
Has not been installed or modified in any way
Box is not written on (use shipping labels when sending back)
If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please send an email to Customer Service, clearly stating the conditions of your return. The following types of items and orders do not qualify for returns or refund:
Light bulbs, parts, cut wire and shades; unless the error was our fault.
Custom orders or products built to order; unless found to be defective.
Special purchases, such as: inventory sale items, custom quotes, special discounts, etc.
Expedited shipping and charges for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and International.
